  • We’ve added device specific tracking to typing indicators. This makes the typing indicator more accurate, so conversations feel even more real and connected. 
  • Typing indicators now vanish when you go 'inactive'. That means if you step away to grab a snack or switch tabs, your friends won’t see you pretend to be typing forever. 
    • We’ve defined 'inactive' as clicking away, switching apps, navigating websites, or minimizing the app—basically, when you’re not actively chatting. So, your status is now as honest as your favorite meme.
